On the opening weekend of Dreamworks "Bee Movie", all of the Dutch Gold Honey employees and their families were invited to a special viewing at Penn Cinemas. It's not every day a movie comes out about bees, honey and pollination.

OUR HONEY BEAR FINALLY HAS A NAME - NUGGET

In Fall of 2007, Dutch Gold Honey launched a nationwide contest in celebration of the Honey Bear's 50th birthday. We invited people from all over the country to help come up with a name for this little bear who had been nameless since it's invention in 1957. The winning name - Nugget - was chosen by the Gambers and was submitted by Karen Chapman of Boiling Springs, PA

Dutch Gold Honey sponsors the Annual 5K Honey run at Amos Herr Park.
The 5K Honey Run has been successful now for 8 years and continues to grow.

Dutch Gold Honey recently held their 60th Anniversary Party with the Lancaster Barnstormers at Clipper Magazine Stadium. One of our founders, Luella Gamber and CEO, Bill Gamber joined others to throw out the first pitch.

FLAG DEDICATION

FLAG DAY - JUNE 14, 2002 - 11:00 A.M.

HONORING THE LIFE OF W. RALPH GAMBER
1912-2001

Today we remember W. Ralph Gamber, the founder of Dutch Gold Honey, Inc. by holding today's flag dedication ceremony. The flag and flag pole were gifts to the Gamber Family from the employees this past Christmas. It was attended by all the Dutch Gold employees, friend, family member and a few political figures. We were honored to have Katie True, PA Representative Tom Creighton, PA Senator Norah Wenger and US Congressman Joseph Pitts joining us for today's dedication. It was lead by the Gamber Family with thoughts on patriotism and memories of Ralph. Dutch Gold employees also participated in presentations, singing, the pledge of allegiance and the brass ensamble. It was exactly how Ralph would have wanted it.
